Un mare ancora pescoso e pulito, grotte e scogliere altissime, faraglioni e spiagge dalla sabbia finissima e nera, solfatare e montagne di bianchissima pomice e tutto il fascino degli ambienti isolani.
Nonostante le vicissitudini della storia e i cambiamenti imposti dal mondo moderno, questa identità è sopravvissuta con i suoi costumi e le sue tradizioni. L'arcipelago delle Isole Eolie, a nord della costa siciliana, in provincia di Messina, nel 2000 e' stato proclamato dall'UNESCO Patrimonio dell'Umanità.
Sette isole di origine vulcanica in alcune delle quali e' ancora presente una discreta attivita' vulcanica.
L'isola piu' grande e' Lipari, seguita da Salina. La piu' piccola, Panarea, e' anche l'isola piu' esclusiva, preferita dai VIP.
Stromboli, grazie all'intensa attivita' vulcanica di "Iddu" ha visto incrementare fortemente il turismo negli ultimi anni.
Vulcano resta un'isola molto frequentata sia per lo stabilimento termale che per le attrattive turistiche. Infine, Filicudi ed Alicudi, ad ovest dell'arcipelago e vicine a Palermo, sono le isole per gli amanti della natura e della tranquillita'.
Ad Alicudi non circolano veicoli ed e' caratterizzata da un territorio selvaggio ed incontaminato, ideale per un perfetto mix siciliano di vacanza al mare e trekking.
