Lipari, la regina delle Isole Eolie
Lipari è la “regina” dell’arcipelago Eolie. È l’isola più grande e sede del comune che amministra anche le altre isole, ad eccezione di Salina.
Sulla collina, una roccia lavica a strapiombo che separa le due baie di Marina Corta e Marina Lunga, è possibile visitare il Museo Regionale Eoliano, uno dei più importanti in Italia, situato tra le mura del Castello fortificato con una vista spettacolare sulla costa.
Da non perdere anche l’Acropoli greca - romana e la Cattedrale di San Bartolomeo di origine normanna.
Facoltativo (a pagamento) è un giro dell’isola in bus con aria condizionata o in barca. Il centro storico offre una varietà di negozi tra i quali trascorrere il tempo a disposizione allo shopping.
Potete pranzare liberamente al sacco o nei numerosi locali vicino al porto per assaggiare i piatti tipici della cucina eoliana.
Lipari, queen of the Aeolian Islands
Lipari is the main island of the archipelago that forms the Aeolian Islands. It is the largest island and the capital of the municipality of Lipari that includes all the other islands, except Salina.
On the hilltop, an overhanging rock of volcanic origins in the wide bay between the two inlets of Marina Lunga and Marina Corta you can visit the Regional Aeolian Archaeological Museum, one of the most important museums of Italy, the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo with Norman origins and tombs of the Greek and Roman acropolis.
The archeological area is situated between the walls of the old Castle and offers a spectacular view of the coastline.
An optional tour of the island in an air-conditioned bus or by boat is available for an extra charge.
Spend your free time with a walk in the historical city center that offers a variety of shops, enjoying a small snack by yourselves or having lunch in one of the many restaurants near the harbor to taste the typical eolian dishes.

Lipari, die “Königin” des Äolischen Archipels, ist die größte Insel der Inselgruppe und Hauptsitz der Gemeinde Lipari, die alle Inseln des Archipels verwaltet, mit Ausnahme von Salina.
Auf dem Hügel, einem steilem Felsen vulkanischen Ursprungs, der sich über der breiten Bucht zwischen den Anlegestellen Marina Lunga und Marina Corta erhebt, befindet Sie das Regionale Äolische Archäologische Museum, eines der wichtigsten in Italien, die Kathedrale normannischen Ursprungs und die Gräber der griechischen und römischen Akropolis.
