A nord-est di Panarea c’è l’isola di Stromboli, famosa in tutto il mondo per la sua ininterrotta attività vulcanica con spettacolari e frequenti eruzioni.
Talvolta si riesce, con un briciolo di fortuna, ad assistere alla famosa “Sciara del fuoco” ad una eruzione e a vedere le esplosioni di breve durata nella quale vengono emesse bombe scoriacee incandescenti, lapilli, ceneri e deboli fontane di lava che scendono fino al mare (escursione „Stromboli by night”).
Le imbarcazioni attraccano a San Vincenzo, tipico borgo con le sue caratteristiche casette bianche e l’architettura eoliana. Nelle immediate vicinanze dello sbarco ci sono le suggestive spiagge nere, dove è possibile fare il bagno.
Il tempo libero vi permette di fare un aperitivo o di cenare in un locale con vista mare, di passeggiare tra le vie strette del pittoresco paese, di andare a visitare la chiesa di San Vincenzo o il Centro Operativo dell’Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia sul Lungomare o di osservare i tradizionali pescatori.

Stromboli, discovering one of the most active volcanoes of the world
The island of Stromboli, located north-east of Panarea, is famous all over the world for its uninterrupted volcanic activity with spectacular and frequent eruptions.
Sometimes, with a bit of good luck, you can witness near the famous stream of fire, „Sciara del fuoco“, an eruption and short-term ejections of incandescent cinder, lapilli, lava bombs and a weak lava fountain that flows down into the sea (excursion „Stromboli by night”).
Ships dock in San Vincenzo, a typical village with characteristic white houses and an eolian architecture. It is possible to go for a swim in the sea at the black beaches nearby the dock.
Your free time invites you to enjoy an appetizer or dinner in one of the restaurants with sea view, to go for a walk between the narrow alleys of the picturesque village, to visit the church of San Vincenzo or the visitor’s center of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology on the promenade or to observe the traditional fisherman at work.

Im Nordosten Panareas liegt die Insel Stromboli, in aller Welt bekannt für ihre ununterbrochene vulkanische Aktivität mit spektakulären und regelmäßigen Eruptionen.
Manchmal kann man etwas Glück in der Nähe des berühmten Feuerstroms, „Sciara del fuoco“, eine Eruption und kurz andauernde Ausstöße von glühender Asche, Lapilli, Lavabomben und einen schwachen Lavastrom beobachten, der ins Meer hinunterrollt (Ausflug „Stromboli by night“).
Schiffe legen am Bootssteg von San Vincenzo an, einem typischen Dorf mit weißen Häusern und äolischer Architektur.
Ein Bad im Meer ist möglich an einem der schwarzen Strände in der Nähe der Anlegebrücke.
